Holding Hands

“We don’t come out for heterosexual people to know.

We don't come out for the ones who hate us to know.

We shout and make as much noise as possible just so other people like us who are scared and can't be themselves would know that they are not a mistake and they are not alone.“

~Artem Kolesov

What is Project Queer Visibility?

Project Queer Visibility empowers LGBTQ+ individuals by equipping them with the essential tools to be visible and show solidarity. Through courage, community, and symbolic representation, we foster strength and support. Our aim is to create a world where queer individuals confidently express themselves, inspiring others.

Visibility Starts With Self Love

Embracing your true identity is where visibility begins. It requires accepting yourself, affirming your worth, and nurturing self-love. Find the strength to reveal your authentic self to yourself and loved ones. As you become more at ease with your essence, you naturally radiate your unique brilliance. Take your time on this personal journey of self-discovery and self-expression. You alone can determine when to fully embrace visibility.

Why it's important?

Many queer individuals still face discrimination, marginalization, and violence due to their gender identity or sexual orientation. This can lead to isolation, shame, and despair and devastate mental health and well-being. By creating a space where queer individuals can showcase their rich diversity and complexity, we hope to promote a greater sense of community, belonging, and empowerment among queer people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.
